   Lumi-Light Western Blotting Substrate

   -for chemiluminescent detection

As the technology for quantifying chemiluminescence advances, the substrates for chemiluminescence must also advance. For instance, the light emission of conventional enhanced luminol substrates substantially decreases within 30 minutes. In contrast, the chemiluminescence signal of Lumi-Light substrate persists for more than three hours (nine hours for Lumi-LightPLUS ), and since exposures of only a few minutes are necessary, multiple exposures can be taken

Use the Lumi-Light Western Blotting Substrate for standard applications with high sensitivity requirements and choose the Lumi-LightPLUS Western Blotting Substrate for exceptional levels of sensitivity (see Table).

· Detect rare proteins in the range of 1–5 pg.

· Perform multiple exposures with a signal stable for more than 3 to 9 hours after substrate addition, depending on the substrate used.

· Conserve valuable primary antibody with a stronger light signal allowing 10- to 100-fold greater primary antibody dilution compared to colorimetric detection.

· Easily prepare the substrate solution by simply mixing the two Lumi-LightPLUS components in a ratio of 1:1.

· Get Quantifiable results. Bands or dots on films can be quantified with a densitometer.
